Every boat requires components designed around its specific characteristics. For this project, Moitech® developed a fully customized carbon fiber bowsprit, managing every stage of the development process—from the initial concept to the final on-site verification.

THE CHALLENGE

To develop a custom bowsprit capable of meeting specific structural, dimensional and functional requirements, while ensuring lightweight construction, strength and ease of installation.

Every detail had to be designed to fit the boat perfectly, minimizing the need for modifications during installation.

TEST FITTING & RESULT

Before final installation, the Moitech® team carried out a test fitting directly at the boatyard, verifying the component’s perfect integration with the boat. This stage made it possible to check every construction detail, simplify final installation and ensure that the component fully met the project requirements.

The project demonstrates Moitech®’s approach to developing custom composite components: an integrated process combining engineering, rapid prototyping, manufacturing and technical support through to the final installation stage.
